⚠️ Babylon didn’t just want Daniel’s obedience—it wanted his identity.

In this powerful message, Pastor Darcy Quiles explains how Daniel refused to abandon his Hebrew beliefs, traditions, and covenant with God despite intense pressure from Babylonian culture. Daniel understood that assimilation begins in the mind.

What a powerful move of God we experienced today at First Pentecostal Church of Dover!

Pastor Darcy Quiles brought a timely and Spirit-filled message titled: “Shining for ALL to See!” as part of the series “Called to be Different.” We were reminded that as followers of Christ, we are called to stand out in this world by reflecting the light of Jesus everywhere we go.

“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16 ✝️

In a world filled with darkness, compromise, and confusion, God is calling His people to shine boldly, live differently, and point others to Christ through our words, actions, love, and testimony.

Today, we were blessed by a powerful message from the Word of God titled "Pride Comes Before the Fall", shared by Brother Bryan and centered on the words of Jesus in Matthew 23:12:

"But those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted."

During today's worship service, we were reminded that pride is one of the greatest dangers to the human heart. Throughout Scripture, pride has led many to destruction, while humility has always been honored by God. We were challenged to examine our hearts, surrender our will to the Lord, and follow the perfect example of humility demonstrated by Jesus Christ.

True humility is not thinking less of ourselves, but thinking of ourselves less and placing God at the center of our lives. As believers, we are called to walk in obedience, dependence on God, and love for others, recognizing that every blessing, talent, and success comes from Him.

May we continue to pray as David prayed: "Search me, O God, and know my heart," allowing the Lord to reveal and remove any pride that may hinder our relationship with Him.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for worship today. We pray that God's Word continues to transform lives and draw us closer to Christ.

What a powerful and spirit-filled service today! 🙌🔥

Today, our Pastor, Darcy Quiles, brought a life-changing word titled: “Getting Rid of the Old and Putting on the New” based on Colossians 3:10, from his series: “Called to be Different.” We were reminded that through Christ, we are called to leave behind our old ways and walk in the new life God has prepared for us.

There is beauty in transformation. There is freedom in surrender. And there is power in becoming renewed daily through Jesus Christ!

“Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like Him.” Colossians 3:10
