Friday is here… but Sunday is coming.
Today, we pause at the cross. We remember the sacrifice, the suffering, and the overwhelming love that held Him there. It is a solemn reminder that even in our darkest moments, God is still working, still loving, still redeeming.
“But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities… and by his wounds we are healed.” — Isaiah 53:5
But this is not the end of the story.
Because Sunday is coming.
Hope is coming.
Victory is coming.
Resurrection is coming.
As we reflect on this Good Friday, we invite you to join us for our Noon Day Good Friday Service as we gather in worship, prayer, and remembrance of the greatest love ever shown.
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13
Come with a heart ready to reflect. Leave with a spirit anchored in hope.
Because even in the silence of today… God is preparing something greater.

As we walk through Holy Week, our hearts are drawn back—not only to the cross, but to the beginning… to Advent, when we first prepared for the coming of Christ as a child.
In Advent, we waited in hope. We imagined the quiet strength of Mary—the way she carried both uncertainty and deep faith within her. She didn’t know every detail of what was to come, but she trusted God fully. She prepared her heart to welcome Jesus into the world.
And now, in these final days of Lent, we are called into that same posture once again.
Just as Mary prepared to carry Him, Christ prepared His own body to be the ultimate sacrifice. The baby she once held would become the Savior who would give His life for us. What began in a manger would be fulfilled on the cross.
Can you imagine Mary’s heart?
The joy of His birth…
The tenderness of raising Him…
And the unimaginable weight of watching Him carry the cross.
From cradle to cross—this is the fullness of His love.
As Resurrection Sunday approaches, we are reminded that the story does not end in sorrow, but in victory. The same Jesus we welcomed in Advent is the risen King we celebrate now.
So in this sacred season, let us prepare our hearts once more—
with the same faith as Mary,
the same anticipation of Advent,
and the same reverence for the sacrifice that gives us eternal life.
“He is not here; He has risen.” 🤍
🎶 They hung Him high, they stretched Him wide,
He hung His head, for me He died…
🎶 That’s love, that’s love…
✨ Join us this Resurrection Sunday as we give the highest praise to our Lord and Savior and celebrate the power of His resurrection. We are also honored to welcome our Confirmation Class into the United Methodist faith—a beautiful moment of commitment, growth, and new beginnings in Christ.
Come worship, celebrate, and rejoice with us! ✝️🤍

❄️ Blizzard Prayer Call During This Lenten Season ❄️
As this blizzard blankets everything in white, we are reminded of the hymn:
🎶 “What can make me white as snow? Nothing but the blood of Jesus.” 🎶
The snow covering the ground mirrors what this season of Lent represents — reflection, repentance, renewal, and the cleansing power of Christ. Lent reminds us that before resurrection comes surrender… before victory comes endurance… and before the joy of Easter, we walk through preparation.
But while the snow may look peaceful, we know this storm has brought real challenges.
Tonight, we lift up in prayer:
Those without power 🕯️
Those without heat
Those without shelter
First responders and essential workers
Families feeling anxious, isolated, or afraid
During Lent, we lean deeper into prayer and dependence on God. This is a time for corporate prayer — the body of Christ standing together in unity. Even if we are praying from separate homes, we are joined in spirit.
And we declare in faith:
🎶 “The storm is passing over, the storm is passing over, the storm is passing over, Hallelujah!” 🎶
Lent teaches us that storms do not have the final word. The cross did not have the final word. The grave did not have the final word. And this blizzard does not have the final word.
This will pass.

Let Us Pray Together:
Heavenly Father,
In this sacred season of Lent, we come humbly before You. As snow covers the earth, we remember that nothing makes us white as snow except the blood of Jesus.
Lord, we lift up every family without power, without warmth, without shelter. Be their refuge. Be their provider. Be their peace in the middle of this storm.
Strengthen first responders and all who are working through dangerous conditions. Protect the elderly, the vulnerable, and those feeling alone tonight.
As Lent calls us to draw closer to You, let this storm draw our community closer together. Teach us compassion. Stir us to check on our neighbors. Make us Your hands and feet.
We declare together that the storm is passing over. We declare restoration. We declare provision. We declare peace.
And we say Hallelujah in advance, because we trust the God who brings us through every season.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

❤️ Church Family — please stay safe.
If you do not need to travel, stay home. Check on elderly neighbors by phone. Keep devices charged. Conserve heat. Cover up and be cautious if you must go outside.
Your safety matters. Your family matters. Let’s be wise, prayerful, and careful.

The storm is passing over… Hallelujah.
