OPEN MY EYES | Luke 24:13–35

What happens when Jesus is walking with you, but you don't recognize Him?

In Luke 24, two disciples are walking away from Jerusalem disappointed, confused, and discouraged. They had seen Jesus crucified, and their hopes seemed to have died with Him. But what they didn't realize was that **Jesus Himself was walking with them.**

As Jesus opened the Scriptures, He revealed that everything that had happened was part of God's redemptive plan. Then, as they fellowshiped with Him, their eyes were opened—and they knew Him.

Their disappointment became revelation.
Their confusion became understanding.
Their hearts began to burn.
And their feet turned back toward Jerusalem with a testimony.

THIS MESSAGE WILL SHOW US:

1. JESUS WALKS WITH US EVEN WHEN WE DO NOT RECOGNIZE HIM**
Luke 24:13–24

2. JESUS REVEALS HIMSELF THROUGH THE SCRIPTURES**
Luke 24:25–27

3. JESUS OPENS OUR EYES THROUGH FELLOWSHIP WITH HIM**
Luke 24:28–31

4. A HEART SET ON FIRE BECOMES A LIFE ON MISSION**
Luke 24:32–35

Our closing prayer is found in Psalm 119:18:

"Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things from Your law."

When Jesus opens our eyes, He changes our hearts.
When He changes our hearts, He changes our direction.
And when He changes our direction, He uses our lives to point others to Him.

Lord, open our eyes. Help us see Jesus clearly.
