The Bible tells us that it is God who plants eternity in the human heart. And that means we can never be completely satisfied with mere earthly pleasures and pursuits. We must never forget that we are created in God’s image. And because we are, we have a spiritual thirst. Because we are, we have eternal value. Because we are, nothing but the eternal God can truly satisfy us. He has built into us this restless yearning for the kind of perfect existence that can only be found in Him and in His perfect rule. Sure, He’s given us a tiny little glimpse of that perfection in the purest aspects of His creation. But it’s still only a glimpse. We cannot see into the future; we cannot comprehend everything. And that’s why we have to trust Him now and follow Him and make the most of our time as best as He shows us how.

Hello All!

For a while we have been operating two separate pages for our wonderful church. As of January 1, 2026 we will be consolidating to just one! This will allow us to focus on bringing you more updated information and a better social media experience.

How can you live your life in way that is constantly giving praise to God? In what ways might thanksgiving lift you out of your dismay and despair? And why is every happy person a grateful person? We’ll be addressing those questions—along with how thanksgiving brings about a whole different attitude toward life—at Sunday morning’s Worship Service (at 10:30). The message is entitled “Give Thanks at the Remembrance” and is based on Psalm 30:1-12.

How might you describe your primary purpose for being in church on Sunday? What do you consider the primary elements necessary for worshiping God? And how does your devotion to the Lord affect the way you live on a day-to-day basis? We’ll be addressing those questions—along with why the Bible so often calls worship "the sacrifice of praise"—at Sunday morning’s Worship Service (at 10:30). The message is entitled “Everything That Hath Breath” and is based on Psalm 150:1-6.

Our youth group is doing their annual Thanksgiving Pie Fundraiser! Don’t miss out ordering yours

The funds made from this bake sale will go towards our youth's State Youth Convention in March. Pick up time will be from 4-7pm Wednesday, November 26 in the Life Enhancement Center behind the Dyers Creek Church.
