That’s because David knew who he was in God and he didn’t have to answer but to God Amen

David understood that offering your worship does not mean shelving your pain.

When David was in pain he did not try to get himself together in order to worship.

David embraced and then expressed his pain. And from the place of his pain he worshipped.

If you’re leading worship in a hard season, you don’t have to stuff your pain.

Do what David did. Be real with yourself. Acknowledge your pain before the Lord.

And then sing to the God Who comforts us in our sorrows.
