GOD WILL FIGHT FOR YOU | Joshua 10:8

Sometimes the promise of victory still requires an all-night march.

Joshua was tired. His army was tired. They had marched through the night and still had a battle waiting for them. But God had already spoken: “Fear them not: for I have delivered them into thine hand.”

Joshua marched. Joshua obeyed. Joshua fought.

Then God did what Joshua could never do.

God sent the hailstones.
God made the sun stand still.
God fought for Israel.

Maybe you’ve been marching all night. You’re tired, you’re weary, but you know what God promised you.

Keep marching. Keep obeying. Keep believing.

Do what you can do, and trust God to do what only He can do.

When you march, God fights.

This Sunday, we’re going back to the day Ichabod was born—the day everything changed in Israel.

The ark was taken. Eli’s sons were dead. The glory had departed.

But how did Israel get there?

Somewhere along the way, they became comfortable with the presence of God. The ark became a prop. A good luck charm. Something to bring out when they needed God to move.

And if we’re not careful, we can do the same thing today.

God is not a prop. He is not decoration for the season. He is not just my resource—He is my source.
