Do you sometimes feel like your spirit is bound up in chains that keep you from being all God meant for you to be? Has your pride ever gotten in the way of allowing the Lord to help you? And how might Jesus be an example of why we need regular worship as a part of our lives? We’ll be addressing those questions—along with how God won't leave you the way you are—at Sunday morning's Worship Service (at 10:30). The message is entitled "Jesus and the Ragtag Ragamuffins" and is based on Luke 4:14-21. We sure would love to see you there! (But if you can’t or would rather not join us inside in-person, you can still watch the service live or recorded on our YouTube channel or page.)

What kind of spiritual fruit are you bearing? Are Christlike traits showing up in both your character and your conduct? And to what extent are the ideas and sentiments of your faith being worked out in the details of your life? We’ll be addressing those questions—along with what happens when we live God's way—at Sunday morning's Worship Service (at 10:30). The message is entitled "Since Jesus Came into My Heart" and is based on Galatians 5:22-26. We sure would love to see you there! (But if you can’t or would rather not join us inside in-person, you can still hear the service in the parking lot [over 107.7FM] or watch it live or recorded on our YouTube channel or page.)

Is there really some purpose behind the tests and trials and troubles of this life? When things are at their worst, do you get better and make things better around you? Could it be that the pressures and perplexities and despair and persecutions you face are actually opportunities disguised as obstacles? We’ll be addressing those questions—along with how to trust God when you feel weak, hard-pressed, and stressed out—at Sunday morning's Worship Service (at 10:30). The message is entitled "Trust and Obey" and is based on 2 Corinthians 4:7-18. Plus, we're going to be honoring this year's graduates during this time together!

Oh, and don't forget that this service is going to be outdoors (weather permitting of course)! There will be some chairs set up behind the Life Enhancement Center, but you might find it more comfortable if you brought your own outdoor or camp chairs for this service—being that the chairs that are set out have hard legs that are not as conducive to being in the grass, especially if the ground is damp. As to parking for this service, we're asking you to reserve the lower parking spots around the LEC for our seniors and that the rest of us park up top around the main church building. (But if you can’t join us in-person, you can still watch the service live or recorded on our YouTube channel or page.)

Immediately following this service will be our Spring Picnic on the Grounds. Since the church will be providing fried chicken for the picnic, we’re only asking that you pitch in some vegetable and potato sides along with a drink to share. Oh, but don’t forget the desserts! For this bunch sure does love their desserts!

It’s the day before Easter, and tonight’s sky will host a full moon. Centuries ago, pilgrims traveled many miles by the light of a moon such as this one to far away places of worship—to Jerusalem, to Rome—so as to celebrate the resurrection of their Lord. Will you travel just a few miles by sunlight Sunday morning to celebrate His resurrection? The Easter Sunday Worship Service at the Church at Dyers Creek begins at 10:30 in the Life Enhancement Center.

Are you ready to go beyond just playing like you're a Christian? Have you come to the point where you're ready to give God complete control so that He can grant you abundant life? And what does it mean to put sin to death in your life? We’ll be addressing those questions—along with how as you die to your old self, your life is being resurrected to be more like Christ—at Easter morning’s Worship Service (at 10:30) in the Life Enhancement Center. The message is entitled “Because He Lives” and is based on Romans 6:1-10. We sure would love to see you there! (But if you can’t or would rather not join us inside in-person, you can still hear the service in the parking lot [over 107.7FM] or watch it live or recorded on our YouTube channel or page.)

What does Jesus' death on the cross mean for your life today as well as for your eternal life? Why would Jesus humble Himself to the point of such an excruciating death? And how is His humility and obedience and sacrifice an example for the way you live as a believer? We’ll be addressing those questions—along with why we don't have to struggle to perfect before offering our lives to God—at Sunday morning’s Worship Service (at 10:30). The message is entitled “The Old Rugged Cross” and is based on Philippians 2:3-11. We sure would love to see you there! (But if you can’t or would rather not join us inside in-person, you can still hear the service in the parking lot [over 107.7FM] or watch it live or recorded on our YouTube channel or page.)

Are your fists so tightly clenched around your possessions that no new thing, no new idea, no new method, no new way, no new gift from God can make its way into your hands? When it comes right down to it, do you have what might be called a "receiving problem"? And have you been recognizing how God uses little things in great ways in your life? We’ll be addressing those questions—along with how loving is the action that was designed into us before our birth—at Sunday morning’s Worship Service (at 10:30). The message is entitled “Little Is Much, When God Is in It” and is based on 1 Corinthians 1:4-9. We sure would love to see you there! (But if you can’t or would rather not join us inside in-person, you can still hear the service in the parking lot [over 107.7FM] or watch it live or recorded on our YouTube channel or page.)

What convictions do you typically see sprouting up and prospering wherever you find love flourishing? When it comes right down to it, are your attitudes promoting more harmony and unity, or more discord and division? And how do you go about planting the seeds of Christ's love in the hearts of unbelievers? We’ll be addressing those questions—along with how hospitality focuses on the needs of the guest—at Sunday morning’s Worship Service (at 10:30). The message is entitled “I Would Be True” and is based on Romans 12:9-18. We sure would love to see you there! (But if you can’t or would rather not join us inside in-person, you can still hear the service in the parking lot [over 107.7FM] or watch it live or recorded on our YouTube channel or page.)
