Our Sunday School children made Christmas wreaths for everyone in our service telling about Jesus birth & what each symbol means, our beautiful poinsettia on our altar, Larry giving Children's moment about Jesus birth, and Joyce made a beautiful birthday cake for Jesus and for Lizel, Dave, & Paul December birthdays and to everyone for their birthday in 2024. We love celebrating at our church, especially celebrating Jesus birth. Remember as you celebrate your family Christmas celebration, Jesus is the real reason for the season. Christmas started in the 1800's to celebrate Christ mass. God be with you all, Merry Christmas

All pies are pre-ordered this Thanksgiving. The kinds of dessert pies are listed on the poster and all orders need to be called in to 207-564-2024 or 207-564-8055 and leave a message with your name, your phone number, the kind of pies you want and how many of each. Please use our answering machines as Deb isn't always home and our church office isn't manned every day; however, phone at church is checked every couple days. The earlier you can pre-order the better to enable our pie bakers to obtain all their supplies they will need to make your scrumptious choices. All pies need to be picked up between 7:00am and 9:00am on November 27, come in to the back door of the church and our pie sales people will be waiting for you. Thank you to all who support our pie sales, God bless

...the Lord Jesus Christ, our hope. 1 Timothy 1: 1. Have you ever lost the ability to feel hopeful? Our current circumstances can distort our hopefulness. What would we do without hope? We are thankful that Jesus is our hope. We can never lose Jesus, even when our hope wanes, He is always with us. He is so steadfast and so true. He doesn't leave us when we lose hope, He sticks fast to us. Even in our times of need or our worst medical issues, He is here. He will never leave or forsake us. Thank You Lord, we praise You even in our low times. Let everything in us praise our Lord and Savior. We pray to You, in Jesus name, Amen

"I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, 'Do not fear, I will help you'" Isaiah 41: 13. Are you going through some stressful trials or medical issues right now? This verse helps us as we go through life's tough moments. God is always with us. All we have to do is ask Him into our hearts and He is already there, holding us and giving us peace. God stays close and He provides strength and hope. Dear Heavenly Father, Papa, we come to You today with thanks for always being near to us. We ask You to help us open our hearts to You, and we know You are always near. We need to let go and let You, God, show us the way You want us to be. We know You are there, we just need to give all to You. We come to You in Jesus name, Amen

God said, "I will certainly bless you and multiply your descendants." So Abraham obtained the promise by showing patience. Hebrews 6: 14-15. When we have trials, our lives seem in tumult, we think the world around us is in a mess...try patience. Pray to God to give us patience. Abraham waited many, many years to produce descendants, but God had promised. God promises us His blessings too, we just need to be patient. Even in challenging situations, God stays with us and will show us blessings. Dear Father, thank You for helping us to grow in faith, even as we go through hardships, You are always with us. In Jesus name we pray, Amen

They all ate and were satisfied. Matthew 14:20. Do we share often enough with others? Our food cupboards are very busy, many families don't have enough to eat, our elderly's monthly funds just don't go far enough, or the single mom struggles to feed her sweet family. Let's do all we can to help supply the food cupboard, donate to the places that give out food, help grow extra so everyone will be satisfied just as Jesus fed the 5000.Seek God's will in how He wants us to help others. Dear Father, we thank You for all that we have, we know it all comes from You. We ask today that You show us how You want us to share with others. We ask in Jesus name, Amen.

In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:8. Do you have things bother you at night when trying to sleep? Do the events of the day bother you at night and keep you awake? Think about our God, pray to Him and all fears and anxiety become easier to face. He cares, He will see you through the night. Dear Lord Father, our lives are often full of trials. However, when we turn to You, put our faith in You, we rest peacefully knowing You protect us. We thank You Lord. We pray to you in Jesus' name, amen

So then, if anyone is in Christ, that person is part of the new creation. The old things have gone away, and look, new things have arrived! 2 Corinthians 5:17. I have turned to God and repented of my sins and mistakes. Hearing this from a friend, they then stated they didn't feel the forgiveness of Jesus. We all need to keep telling people around us that Jesus has forgiven their sins by going to the cross for us. In Christ, the old is gone. We just need to accept Jesus as our Savior. Encourage people to become active in a church, study the Bible, talk to others about Jesus...there are so many ways we can be in touch with God's forgiving ways. Dear Lord, thank You for this new life You have given to us. Thank You for forgiving our sins. We pray in Jesus' name, Amen.
