🙏🏾 Holy One,

We give you thanks for all we have and all we are. You created us in your image. You sent prophets, teachers, ordinary people, and Jesus Christ to show us the way. But we often fall short of your vision for us.

We choose comfort and status quo over addressing the names of those marginalized in society and the Church. Give us courage and wisdom to speak with love and grace as we work to change the things that are not of you - Great Love. Help us to transform ourselves and the world as you would want it to be.
Amen and amen.

It's here! Today is the day!! It's Rummage Sale day! 9am-1pm!! There's so much great stuff, it's overflowing out of the front of the building!! There's something for everybody on every budget -AND- all the proceeds will fund the fuel assistance program to help keep our neighbors warm this coming heating season. Don't miss out!!

The stockings are hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that the buyers soon will be there. We have glassware and pans and lots of great books, knick knacks and tools fill all of the nooks.

We have a few goods for your family with paws, and the money you spend is all for good cause!

A special prayer for Juneteenth ❤️🙏🏼

❤️💚🖤 A special Juneteenth prayer submitted by Rev. Dr. Lawrence T. Richardson, Associate Conference Minister for Church Vitality and Transitions at the Michigan Conference UCC:

"May God, the Liberator, Redeemer, and Sustainer of all, give strength to all who fight against injustice, unharden the hearts of racists, bigots, and angry people, and ignite a love and compassion so strong that it drives out all hate and bitterness. May it be so for the memory of the enslaved who were freed in death; may it be so for the descendants of the formerly enslaved; may it be so for the descendants of the slavers; may it be so for a more just and generous future where every person of every shade and hue can live together in peace, civility, and harmony.

For our neighbors and friends in Piscataquis County: The Bureau of Motor Vehicles now visits our region every month on the first and third Wednesdays only from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Get there early, and get an appointment if you can! Spread the word so that more folks can take advantage of this service, rather than having to drive almost an hour each way to Bangor.
