πŸ™πŸΎGod of rainbows, as you set your rainbow in the sky upon sparing Noah and his family from the flood, embolden us to raise our Pride flags, dappled in the echoes of the rainbow you set upon the skies as your fingers delicately parted open the clouds, and your sandals kicked away the waters.

Embolden us in this flood, as LGBTQ+ folks and other minorities are stripped of their rights. Grant us the power to be the hands and feet which split the tempestuous skies of authoritarianism and kick away the waters of fascism. Employ us as conduits of justice, freedom and liberation. Amen.

On days that feel heavy and challenging, remember that every good action we take towards loving our neighbor is an action taken towards building a more just and peaceful world. β€οΈπŸ™πŸ»πŸŒˆ

"Each and every thing we do to extend compassion, to blaze a path toward justice, to stem hatred and make blessedly real our love of neighbor is a crucial building block of peacemaking in our time."

On this Memorial Day, we remember with deep gratitude the brave people who gave their lives so that we might enjoy the freedom and liberty we do. O God, comfort the families who have lost loved ones in service, and remind them that their sacrifice was not in vain. We pray that we would use our freedom wisely; to serve others, seek justice, and shine the light of Christ in a world longing for peace.

"When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place.
