GIVE ME YOUR MOTORCYCLE
For sometime I loathed giving up my motorcycle to advance His Kingdom ministry. Another trade-off in the new life in Christ is here. A side by side that can get us about on the county roads in our southwest region of Colorado known as the "Western slope". Not to mention, in this area it's likely better to ride Enduro style. A probable direction for me as an operator, but for now I wait on the Lord and follow His leading.

My prayer is that as I take the 'rear with the gear' I can better support building up the presence of the Motorcycle Ministry locally. I appreciate the leading and following we gained as patch holders since April 2016.
There's irony in the LORD's will at times. I think it's His great sense of humor. God is very funny. Perfectly innovative in that he can be ironic as in "funny & strange". Leave it to God to be paradoxical.
The Word said, in Matthew 6:19-21 NIV — “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Reflecting on the mourning of letting go of my motorcycle. These bikes are tools for serving and everything here is temporary as Ecclesiastes writes profoundly well.
2 Corinthians 10:5 KJV — Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
Here's the funny thought that must be taken captive and held in submission to God's authority. If you've come this far in the read then you might already be thinking something along these lines
"I can't be a patch holder without my bike." or "I can't serve and build the HBMM ministry without a motorcycle."
If not your thoughts, then mine. That's what's funny to me. Whose stopping me or you from driving a chase vehicle or providing a rest stop and serving the motorcycle operator?
Some of us when we hear a patch holder is selling their bike, we make the mistake of assuming that this person is quitting the ministry. In no way have I done this.
Although our marketing presentation is minimal lacking the banners, manpower and visibility we are available to serve on the Western slope. Ready to serve servants to Biker's, Biker's themselves and anyone enthusiastic about motorcycles on the Western slope (Mark 10:44 KJV — And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all.)
The greatest banner representing "Biker Rest Stop" we have at this time on highway 491 is the Brick Cross on our sanctuary building Dove Creek Assembly of God (https://maps.app.goo.gl/aLTgBmfW7YN2wShV6 ).
