St. Bruno Parish

St. Bruno Parish St. Bruno Parish is a community of people sharing a common faith in the teachings of the Catholic tradition.

We come together to worship God and to spread the Good News that Jesus gave us.

12/30/2022

Today is the Feast of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph. As we end 2022, pray with your family. Be thankful for all of the blessings God has given you throughout the year and look to the Holy Family for guidance. Have a wonderful day!

Have you ever read something at various times in your life and have it affect you differently? It can be like that when reading God's word - it always speaks to us in the present moment. Pick up your bible and let God speak to you today!

Happy Father's Day, dads!

As the quote by St. John Paull II says, "In revealing and in reliving on earth the very fatherhood of God, a man is called upon to ensure the harmonious and united development of all the members of the family." Father's play a unique and irreplaceable role in the lives of their children. It is both a honor and responsibility! As St. Josemaria Escriva once said: "Be firm, be virile, be a man. And then...be a saint.”

Thank you to the fathers who give day in and day out to build the domestic church in their homes. Thank you for the spiritual fathers that lead others to know God 's love more deeply.

"Rejoice in the Lord always. I shall say it again: rejoice! Your kindness should be known to all. The Lord is near. Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Keep on doing what you have learned and received and heard and seen in me. Then the God of peace will be with you." Philippians 4:4-9
