Good morning, my friends and family. This is a day set aside to remind us all to be thankful for the things we hold close to our hearts. Tammy, Micah, and I are truly thankful for your friendship and fellowship.
We are also thankful for serving a God who has infinite power. Nahum's entire prophecy is a verbal display of the divine majesty and infinite power of the God we serve ( Nahum 1:3-6).
However, in verse (7), we can thank God for his infinite mercy as well. The word "stronghold" means a place of refuge and safety.
We are thankful that "He is able" to protect us in the very storm He has allowed in our lives (Heb 2:18), and that "He is able" to keep us safe throughtout the storms that will come (2 Tim 1:12). Lastly, we are thankful that "He is able" to save us to the uttermost, AND He (Jesus) ever lives to pray and root for us until we get Home.
He Is Able!!!

And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night
And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
