Please keep Mary Mayo and her family in your prayers. Her mother, Ms. Lucy, after 90 years on this earth, went home to be with Jesus. Her service will be Sunday in Fitzgerald, Georgia.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend, it is a time of gratitude, remembrance, and prayer. We honor those who gave their lives in service to our country and thank God for the freedoms we enjoy today. Today we honor the brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom. Let us never forget their sacrifice and we continue to pray for our nation, our military families, and the peace only God can give.

On/Own John 14: 1- 31

- On: a place of position.
- You can posses it but not OWN it.
- You can be ON it and not OWN it.
- You can be at it but not OWN it. You can be at church but not OWN it. You can be at a place and not OWN it.
- You can own it and not be at it. You can own a house but not be at it.
- You can’t participate in something you don’t OWN.
- You can talk about something but not be ON it nor OWN it. Can you talk about a topic and not OWN it.
- You can have done it and not OWN it. Things in your past have not taken ownership over you. You quit doing the things that use to own us because we have a new ownership.
- You could have done it, to it, but not OWN it.
- You can lie about it, but you OWN it.
- When you OWN it, that means you are responsible for it.
- When you OWN it, you have a head start. If you stole it, you don’t own it.
- When God made it, He was truly ON it. He was on it from the beginning and He will be ON it until the end.
- If God gave it to you, you OWN it.
- When Christ comes to earth, He will stand ON it and we will OWN it.

As these seniors graduate, may they continue to trust God’s plan for their lives and walk boldly in faith wherever He leads. Graduation is not just an achievement; it’s a reminder of God’s faithfulness through every challenge and victory. May you always remember that your identity is found not in success, but in Christ. God has equipped each of you with unique gifts and a purpose that only you can fulfill. Wherever life takes you next, keep God first and trust that He will direct your path. You are stepping into a new season, but the same God who brought you this far will continue to guide you. We are so very proud of these young men!
