Heavenly Father,

On this Labor Day, we thank You for the gift of work and for all who labor each day in service to their families, communities, and neighbors.

Bless every worker, strengthen those who are weary, provide opportunity for those seeking employment, and grant rest to those who carry heavy burdens.

Through the intercession of St. Joseph the Worker, help us to offer our daily work to You and to recognize the dignity of all who labor.

May everything we do be for Your greater glory.

25th Anniversary of 9/11

As we observe the 25th Anniversary of that fateful and tragic day, we will have a special Holy Hour of Prayer on September 10th, the eve of 9/11, from 6-7PM.
We will pray for our country, for those who lost their lives on 9/11 and their families and for all our first responders, military and veterans.

We have invited the first responders of our community to come and join our parish family for this time of prayer. We invite any veterans who may be able to wear their uniforms or American Legion dress to do so. Please come and join together as we offer special prayers for our country, for all first responders, those serving in our armed services and our nation's veterans.

This week, confessions will not be held during the holy hour but will be available before from 5:20-5:50PM.

Congratulations to our ICC KNIGHTS. They have earned the prestigious Star Council award for the seventh year in a row. 

Knights of Columbus, Mary Queen of Peace Council #17145, has earned the prestigious Star Council Award for the 7th consecutive year!

This is the international organization’s top award for local councils. The Star Council Award recognizes excellence in membership, outstanding service, faith formation, and community support.

Volunteers Needed!

Our Parish, in conjunction with the Mary Queen of Peace Council Knights of Columbus, will be providing and serving meals at Kennedy House, 532 Spruce St, Reading on August 8-9 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Plan to leave the Social Hall parking lot each day at 9:30 a.m.
