Last Sunday, the Women's Society of Immaculate Conception Church gathered for their annual luncheon in the parish Social Hall. They celebrated a successful year of fundraising including bake sales, soup sales, candy sales, and a very successful first annual indoor flea market.

At the luncheon, they presented our pastor Fr. Adam with a check for $16,000 to help our parish meet its expenses.

The Women's Society expresses their heartfelt thanks to all of our wonderful parishioners who participated in the multiple fundraisers throughout the past year. Your generosity and contributions are greatly appreciated.

On this Memorial Day, we pause with gratitude and prayer to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Their sacrifice reminds us of Christ’s own words: “No one has greater love than this, to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” (John 15:13)

As we honor those who died defending the freedoms we cherish, let us also pray for their families, for all veterans and active military members, and for the gift of lasting peace throughout the world.

May God grant eternal rest to the fallen, comfort to those who mourn, and renewed commitment in each of us to serve others with courage, humility, and love.

Today, we remember. We pray. We give thanks.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace. Amen.
