Mountain View Chapel

Mountain View Chapel Mountain View Chapel welcomes you to join us Sunday mornings at 8:30 and 10:30! Mountain View Chapel is made up of ordinary people in every stage of life.

Here at Mountain View Chapel we acknowledge that the Bible is the Word of the living God to man, and the ministries of Mountain View Chapel are committed to presenting the message of the Bible that we might better know God and live our lives in ways that reflect and please Him. The purpose of Mountain View Chapel is to foster the worship of God, to edify believers through the teaching of God's Wor

d and fellowship, and to make known the gospel of God's saving grace through Jesus Christ. We are a body of believers knit together by the threads of Christ's saving grace and love. We are grateful to God for every believer led to be part of this body, as we are for those whom He will yet send to join us in our journey.

โšพ๏ธ๐ŸŒญ What happens when both of our MVC softball teams face off? You turn it into a church family cookout, of course!

Yesterday was filled with friendly competition, great food, lots of laughs, and even better fellowship. It was one of those days that reminds us how much fun it is to simply spend time together as a church family.

A huge thank you to our softball teams for providing the entertainment, our awesome grilling duo for keeping everyone fed, everyone who brought a delicious dish to share, and Emma Gehringer for helping organize the signup and making it all come together!

From the ball field to the picnic tables, it was a great afternoon of community, connection, and memories made. โค๏ธ

Church Family,

During our worship service this morning, a medical emergency occurred that required us to pause the service while care was provided. Out of respect for the individual and their family, we will not be sharing any personal details. We can share that the individual left responsive, and we ask that you please keep them and their loved ones in your prayers in the days ahead.

We are deeply grateful for our Safety Team, the medical professionals in our congregation who responded so quickly, and the police officers and paramedics who arrived promptly and provided excellent care. Their calm presence and willingness to serve were a tremendous blessing.

In light of the circumstances, we concluded our morning together in prayer and dismissed the service early. As a result, there will be no sermon available to watch this week and no Monday devotional released tomorrow.

Thank you for your understanding, your prayers, and the love you continually show one another as a church family. We look forward to worshiping together again next Sunday.

โ€œCarry one anotherโ€™s burdens; in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.โ€ โ€” Galatians 6:2

Memorial Day is more than the start of summer. It's a sacred reminder of the ultimate sacrifice. Men and women who laid down their lives so that we might live in freedom. โœ๏ธ
Today we honor their memory, we pray for their families, and we give thanks to God for the gift of this nation and the brave souls who have defended it.
"Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends." โ€” John 15:13
๐Ÿ™ Lord, we are grateful. May we never forget.

The President has declared this Sunday a Sunday of rededication. Our service will be in the pattern of Nehemiahโ€™s rededication of the people, culminating in the Lordโ€™s Supper as we celebrate communion together, a recommitment to the New Covenant. Benevolence Sunday will still be observed on May 31.
