Church family: please be in prayer for Ron Herrod. He is experiencing pain in his stomach that reaches around to his back. This is a reoccurring problem from a few years ago that has just resurfaced. He is going to the doctor today so please pray for healing and strength. Thank you and God bless.

Ladies Unleash Your Creativity.....Come and join us for a Christmas Craft in September - Creative Centerpiece Treasure Hunt.

Where: First Baptist Church of Douglass Ks
When: Saturday, September 19th
Time: 1:00 to 3:00
Snacks: We will have snacks....Feel free to bring your favorite treat to add to our calorie intake.

Christmas Ornaments will be provided: red, gold, silver (but you are of course welcome to bring your own as well! especially if you have any want to get rid of 😁)

What do you like? Rustic, Country, fancy, etc.? Look at home, Goodwill or Hobby Lobby. Try to spend the least amount of money that you can and keep track of your cost. At the end of the event, we will vote on the most creative and the most inexpensive centerpieces.
Bring the following Items:

Hot glue gun, wire cutters
Square or round platter (approx 13 - 15 inches)
Optional:
Clear glass bowl (approx 6-8 inches).
Decoration Suggestions ( Your Choice) : Few Christmas greens, berries, small pine cones, string of beads, ribbon, battery powered candles (pillar, votive, fairy lights) etc.
If you have extra items, bring them along! Ladies may pick and trade if they so desire.

Come early and enjoy delicious appetizers and refreshments provided by our church family before the concert begins.

This is a FREE event, and everyone in the community is welcome! A love offering (free-will donation) will be received during the evening for those who would like to support the ministry of Testimony Trio.

🍽️ Join Us for Dinner & a Mission Project! 💙

Come join us on Monday, August 10th at 5:30 PM for an evening of food, fellowship, and serving our community!

We’re putting together staff appreciation trays for the amazing teachers and staff at the Douglass schools. Along with tasty treats, we’ll also be creating cards filled with encouragement and prayers.

Please bring 1–100 dozen goodies of your choice, such as:

🍊 Cuties
🥣 Granola bars
🥤 Drink mixes
…or any other easy, delicious treats (store-bought or homemade)!
