Romans 6:9 reminds us: “Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.”

Today we give thanks for Jesus—who in obedience to the Father humbled Himself, came to earth, lived a sinless life, and gave Himself as sacrifice. He conquered death, rose again in victory, and now reigns forever!

January + February have been filled with a mix of new beginnings, old friends, and seeing God continue His work at GBC! Here are a few highlights from the first two months of 2026:

✔️ started our weekly Thursday evening Bible study series in the book of Jude
✔️ welcomed the Rose family to present their work as missionaries to Kenya
✔️ saw one baptized
✔️ enjoyed a church-wide night of fellowship in Ocilla
✔️ had our first ladies’ activity of the year

We’re looking forward to the next two months and what the Lord has as we approach warmer weather and Easter-Resurrection Sunday ✝️

It’s this week’s and the theme verse for 2026 at Grace Baptist Church!

Pastor Parrish preached yesterday morning about how our vision and ambitions must be centered on these three things:
1. The Master—Jesus Christ
2. His Message—the Gospel
3. The Mandate—the Great Commission to preach the Gospel at home and abroad.

Let’s remember that the Christian life is a marathon race, not a sprint, and to keep our vision on Him!
