There will be times when we are right—and still need to choose grace. We don’t have to win every argument, have the last word, or make sure everyone sees things our way.

Sunday, Bro. Milton touched on something we all need to remember: we weren’t called to be liked by everyone—we were called to be faithful to Jesus.

Jesus said, “You are the salt of the earth.” — Matthew 5:13

Salt doesn’t just sit there unnoticed. It changes what it touches. And as followers of Christ, we should too.

Sometimes standing for truth won’t be popular. Sometimes loving people enough to speak truth won’t earn us approval. But our goal isn’t to please the world—it’s to reflect Christ to it.

Be kind. Be loving. Be gracious. But don’t lose your saltiness trying to be everyone’s sugar. ❤️

🌱 Fruit doesn’t grow by accident.

Galatians 5 tells us that the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

But that fruit grows when we’re willing to walk with the Spirit — even when obedience is difficult.

We can’t expect the fruit of patience while constantly giving in to anger.
We can’t expect self-control while continually feeding our temptations.
We can’t expect peace while refusing to surrender control.

Obedience gives the Holy Spirit room to change us from the inside out. ❤️

The question isn’t just, “What fruit am I producing?”
Maybe it’s also, “What area of my life is God asking me to surrender?”

🌿 “If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.” — Galatians 5:25
