Dear Winston Baptist Association DR Trained Volunteer,

The Alabama State Board of Missions DR Office has issued a STANDBY notice for serving the flood victims of Indiana. Possible time for the deployment could be as early as Wednesday, August 19th, and last several weeks.
Specific functions have not been identified, nor have our laundry trailer and chainsaw trailer been specifically called yet. Note that you may also receive emails from our LAUNDRY, ADMIN, & CHAPLAINCY state leaders.
We expect more details to be forthcoming in the next 24-48 hours. At this point, please consider if you can deploy over the next few weeks and prepare your “Go Bag” accordingly.

Thank you ALSBOM Disaster Relief Trainers and Volunteers! Thirteen new chainsaw and cleanup operators and seven new administrators trained the first weekend of March in Double Springs! Current volunteers served faithfully to set up the classrooms and serve the rookies: Thank you David and Beverly Kelly, Jeanette Ogle, Ricky Benford and Cathy Cooper! Much appreciated.
