Our MGBC Wednesday nights look a little different this year but WHO we worship and WHY we gather here has not changed! These are the things we have learned the last 6 weeks. Ages 3 through 6th grade are walking through these concepts. Come join us as we continue looking into what makes God's Word different from any other text and how is it Good News to those who believe!

-God's Word is perfect and true.
-God's attributes are given to us in scripture. We understand Him according to His Word.
-The order seen in Creation points to a Creator, the one and only true God.
-The Trinity refers to one God in three persons-God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. All were present at creation.
-We observe and study the bible by asking, Who, What, When, Where, and Why.
-God's Word has endured for thousands of years and it will endure forever to all generations.

We are just getting started! Supper is served at 5:30 and we being our worship time at 6:00pm. Hope to see you there!
Forever O Lord, your word is firmly fixed in the Heavens.
Psalm 119:89

Hey, Hey!!
We all love to win and hate to lose, but do we do it in a way that honors the Lord and represents our saviour well? It's a topic we all continue to grow in ( any AU or Bama parents out there)? LOL

On September 27th our 3-6th graders are invited to a night of fun in the gym for kickball with friends. We will take a halftime devotion to talk about how being a follower of Christ should cause us look different on the field of play in our sport.

Don't wait! Invite your teammates, friends and cousins to this fun night sure to give us lots of laughter and excitement!
I need you guys to register now so we can plan for food and...
THE LEMON PRESS will be serving halftime drinks on us, one for each kid attending!
Get the word out and sign up on the app!

🎉New Kids Worship Guides are here! 🎉

We’re excited to give our kids a new way to stay engaged during worship and follow along with the sermon each week!

Before the service begins, be sure to pick up a Kids Worship Guide for your child. You’ll find them in the sanctuary right next to the adult sermon guides.

Choose the version that suits your child best: Early Elementary or Older Elementary.

The guides are designed to help kids listen, learn, doodle, and connect with what they’re hearing as we worship together. And don’t toss them when church is over! Take the guide home and use it as a starting point for family conversations about what your child heard and learned during the sermon. 💛

Our hope is that these guides help our kids participate in worship on Sunday and keep talking about God’s Word with their families afterward.

We can’t wait for our kids to start using them this Sunday!

If you are one of our AWANA kids and you have been looking forward to WEDNESDAY nights, the wait is over! While we will not be using the AWANA Curriculum, we will be following the same structure as always: learning about Jesus through His Word, worshiping together with friends, and playing games in the gym.

Drop off will be in the FLC and pick up in the kids classrooms this year. Please see the details in the graphic for important info! We can't wait to see you!

See you this Sunday, August 2nd for “Pop Up Sunday!”
All kids will meet in the gym where we will gather at designated tables for your grade level. There you will meet your new teacher and spend the hour getting acquainted.
We will enjoy Pop Tarts and milk for breakfast together.
There will be a photo op in the FLC so don’t miss the opportunity to snap a pic of your kiddo for your memories.
I’m certain this school year will be blessed with new friendships and our students will grow in the knowledge of Christ as we are all faithful to lead them as we follow Him.
