Thank you, Greystone UMC for a beautiful luncheon today and for the many memories in ministry we have enjoyed together. Six years! Wow!! Even though we have endured a hurricane, tornado, pandemic, and more…there has never been a doubt that we are truly family. Charm, thank you for all you’ve done to make today so fabulous. And yes, it took your team…but you and your special touches are so appreciated. Sue, thank you for your kind words and encouragement in going forward. To all who stayed and shared the delicious meal, thank you. I enjoyed our time together. And for the sweet notes and cards, God bless you. Curt…oh my goodness!!! In observance of the “Last Supper, tomorrow night, I (Pastor Teresa) will be at the Church from 5-6:30 p.m. to share the Sacraments of Holy Communion with those who wish to come by. The Altar will be open for you to spend a few moments as well if you so choose.
“As they were eating, Jesus took some bread and blessed it. Then He broke it in pieces and gave it to the Disciples, saying, ‘Take this and eat it, for this is my body.’ And He took a cup of wine and gave thanks to God for it. He gave it to them and said, ‘Each of you drink from it, for this is my blood, which confirms the covenant between God and His people. It is poured out as a sacrifice to forgive the sins of many,’” (Matthew 26:26-28).

At 2:00 today, we will be Celebrating the life of Lindy Sears at Glover Funeral Home. Visitation is at 1:00 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. also at the Funeral Home. Service at 2:00 p.m. followed by her burial at Memorial Hill. As her Church Family, we thank God for her life and our faith that assures us of life eternal.
