The greatest pie in the face! What a great way to end VBS 2026!

Family Night and the Final Night of VBS!
The children did an amazing job singing the songs they learned this week for their loved ones. This was probably the best pie in the face event EVER! The girls raised the most money in our offering competition, which will be donated to Time Youth, so the boys received the pies! We also drew the names of three children to pie our volunteers. The three men who were pied were our new Youth Pastor, Drew Stringer; our screen and sound man, Clay Pope; and our music director, Craig Stringfield. Out of all the years Craig has been at Southside, his name has never been drawn before. Our Missions class collected money to purchase goats for families in Kenya and raised enough for 3 goats. What a blessing! It was a fun filled week & I think it’s safe to say that too much fun was had, and we are all exhausted! We are so thankful for everyone who participated, volunteered, and supported VBS. We hope to see everyone back Sunday morning!

VBS Night 3!
Tonight’s Bible story helped us see that Jesus was sent to earth as God’s plan for forgiveness. The girls are almost tied with the boys in the offering competition, with all proceeds going to Time Youth. Our missions class is raising money to provide baby goats for families in Kenya. We have already raised enough for almost 3 goats!

We hope to see everyone back tomorrow night for family night! 3 of our volunteers will be getting pied in the face by 3 of our children. You won’t want to miss it! After the pie in the face fun, we will enjoy dinner together in the fellowship hall as we celebrate a wonderful week of VBS. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow night!

VBS Night 2 is complete!
Last night’s Bible lesson focused on the events surrounding Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection, revealing Him as the proven Son of God. Through His sacrifice and victory over the grave, we were reminded of God’s great love and His perfect plan of salvation.
As we prepare to begin Night 3, we are excited for our final Bible study together.
Please continue to pray for our children, families, and volunteers as we finish this wonderful week of VBS!

VBS Night 1 is in the books!

Tonight’s Bible studies led us to explore Jesus’s teachings and His ministry on earth. We learned how He cared for His people, performed miracles, and set the perfect example for His followers.
Our focus was on Jesus as the perfect, powerful, and promised Son of God.

We are looking forward to another exciting lesson tomorrow night! It’s not too late to join us. We would love to have you with us as we continue learning about Jesus.
