Our New Roots in Nature series continues this Sunday, online and in person!

In the in-person service, we will gather at Nightingale Community Garden 512 Park St, Dorchester Center, MA 02124. You can also join us online using the usual link on the New Roots website.

This week, we’re joined by the incomparable Letta Neely—a poet, performer, and community weaver whose presence evokes rooted joy and radical honesty. Letta’s work invites us to remember ourselves as part of something larger, as kin to the earth and one another.

Don’t miss this chance to deepen your roots, expand your branches, and catch a glimpse of the kin(g)dom we’re co-creating.

Did you know Prince’s later work wrestles with the themes of redemption, transformation, and spiritual awakening? His songs echo the heartbeat of the gospel: that love can heal, forgiveness is real, and change is possible.

Join us for a special worship gathering as we explore The Gospel According to Prince—an invitation to encounter sacred truth through the music and message of one of pop’s most prophetic voices.

This won’t be a concert—it’s a communal service. We’ll gather for around Prince’s music, with time for reflection, prayer, and small group conversation, as we ask what he might be preaching to us now.

Whether you’re a lifelong fan or just curious, come expecting to meet God in unexpected frequencies.

All are welcome—exactly as you are.

What does sacred resistance look like in our world today?

Join us tomorrow night at 7 PM as we engage in learning and discussion around Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s life and legacy. We will seek answers and discuss strategies rooted in the belief that sacred resistance is already happening amongst us and we are called to join in.

This past Sunday, we spent some time reflecting on the prophetic witness of the German theologian and pastor, Dietrich Bonhoeffer. This Wednesday will make 80 years since his life was cut short by the N**i regime because of his ideas and activism in opposition of a fascist state. There is so much we can learn from him about how to respond to this time that we are in. If you missed it, no worries we will dive into part two this coming Sunday for our online service at 11!
