Join us for an important conversation about where we are as a country — and where we go from here.

On Wednesday, September 23, Rev. Mariama White-Hammond will join Rev. Dr. Ray Hammond and Rev. Dr. Gloria White-Hammond at UMass Boston for City on a Hill: Resetting Our Civic Moral Compass, part of the 2026 Robert C. Wood Visiting Professorship.

Together, they’ll explore what it means to live up to our highest civic ideals, strengthen our democracy, and help reset our collective moral compass.
