6 years and counting shipping boxes to our partners in the Philippines. God continues to bless the ministry of H.O.P.E. Missions. Thank you to all our churches and supporters. Boxes should be arriving just in time for Christmas!! A huge shout out to the man behind the curtain who has helped us every year make this ministry possible in shipping these boxes every year…Martin Gustilo. We couldn’t do this without Martin and ManilaMart!

Great way to start the Memorial Day weekend. Another year shipping to our Brothers and Sisters in the Philippines complete. 448 care packages and over 150 Bibles along with Sunday School material. Thanks to everyone who made this another successful year even though COVID threw us for a loop...knocked down but not defeated!! Thank you Lord for another successful year!!

When we look around us and see we are surrounded by circumstances that make us fearful we tend to get like Elisha's servant and throw up our hands and say, "Alas, my master! How shall we do?" What are we going to do??? We panic! We forget that if we are saved we are the Lord's, and he is working everything out for our good. We may not always recognize the Lord's hand in a situation. We may not understand exactly what he's doing. But that doesn't mean He is any less in control of it. Elisha in a calm voice that radiated in confidence in his God prayed for the servants eyes to be opened so that he could see the full picture. That this fearful young man could see the great deliverance that God had already prepared. May we remember that whether it's under threat of a conquering army or an unseen virus Jesus Christ is still seated at the right hand of God. Nothing catches him by surprise. He's still in control and we are His. May our eyes be opened to see what God is truly doing for us as His children each and every day. Let's be the voice of calm, faith, and confidence to a frightened people. For the same God who worked a great deliverance in Elisha's day has never changed, and is just as much in control of the situation we are going through today as he was then.

On this Resurrection Sunday I'm thankful for when I could never be good enough to earn salvation one came and lived, and died, and rose again who could secure salvation for all mankind if they would only trust Him as their Savior! The only sinless one to ever live died in the place of sinners so that we could become the sons of God. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 6 (KJV):
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
⁹ Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
¹⁰ Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

But praise be to God....that while that may be who I used to be, that may be who you used to be, and for some that may be who you are currently...that doesn't have to be who you are any longer. Because He lives I can face tomorrow as a child of the King. You can be washed, sanctified, and justified through the shed blood of Jesus today by accepting what He already accomplished by dying on that cross... redemption for sinful man. He who knew no sin became sin for us. I can't boast of anything about me today. I'm not worthy of any praise whatsoever. But He is worthy of all praise today! Because He lives! Amen and amen!!

Jeremiah, the weeping prophet, often felt alone and discouraged. He felt like many of his prayers never made it to God and instead got lost in a thick cloud (Lamentations 3:44). But God was always there. He never left and He never failed to hear Jeremiah in his darkest hour of need. May we call upon Him like Jeremiah did. We often run to every one else but God to try and find the help only He can give. May He be our first stop and not our last. If we draw near to him in prayer first, then perhaps we will hear the words we long for..."Fear not" more often.

In this time of uncertainty and the local church not being able to meet in person because of the risk of spreading, even unknowingly, COVID-19 it becomes very easy to focus on the things we CAN'T do instead of focusing on the things we CAN do. The church of Jesus Christ should not waste our time pouting over not being able to congregate at the moment although we very much desire to worship together with our Brothers and Sisters in Christ. But may we capitalize on the time we have been given to work on being better Bible students, better children, better parents, and better prayer warriors. We can do all of this and never have to leave home. So until we can meet together again within the 4 walls of a church building may we as "the church" spend our time reading, exhorting our brothers and sisters to keep fighting the good fight of faith, pouring over the scriptures studying the doctrines of God's word, and pray for each other like never before! Focus on what you CAN do for the Lord and don't waste time focusing on the things you can't change or control!

Thank you to all our supporters for another successful year of H.O.P.E. Missions! Boxes are officially sent off and will ship out tomorrow. Within a couple of months they should all be there safe and sound.
