Hay algo especial en un miércoles por la noche en CDA Miami. 🤍

La música se siente, el lugar está lleno de vida y el mensaje te alcanza justo a mitad de semana, cuando más lo necesitas. La gente canta, se ríe y sale más ligera de lo que llegó. De verdad que no se parece a ningún otro servicio.

Algunos hemos estado lejos de Dios por mucho tiempo. Otros nos fuimos alejando poco a poco. De cualquier forma, el camino de regreso puede parecer mucho más largo de lo que realmente es.

En la historia de los dos hijos que Jesús contó, el hijo menor ensayó un discurso completo mientras volvía a casa. Su padre tenía otra cosa preparada. Un abrazo, una túnica y un lugar en la mesa.

Desliza para ver cuatro pasos sencillos para regresar a casa: me harto, confieso, doy la vuelta, celebro. Guárdalo para el día que lo necesites y envíaselo a alguien en quien has estado pensando.

Some of us have been away from God for a long time. Some of us just drifted a little. Either way, the walk back can feel a lot longer than it really is.

In Jesus’ story of the two sons, the younger son rehearsed a whole speech on the way home. His father had something else ready. A hug, a robe, and a seat at the table.

Most of us say : “I’ll take care of myself later.” After this season, after the kids grow up, after the holidays. Starting Monday.

On Sunday we looked at Romans 12:1, where Paul asks us to offer our bodies to God as a living sacrifice. 🤲🏽 Not our hearts or our thoughts, our bodies. Your body matters to God, it belongs to God, and it’s an offering to God. Not because of guilt, but because of His mercy. 🤍

This week, pick one area to offer Him. Book the checkup, take the walk, get to bed earlier, or just pray “Lord, this body is Yours.”

Casi todos decimos: “Me cuido después.” Después de esta temporada, cuando los hijos crezcan, después de las fiestas. Empezando el lunes.

El domingo vimos Romanos 12:1, donde Pablo nos pide ofrecer nuestro cuerpo a Dios como sacrificio vivo. 🤲🏽 No dijo el corazón ni los pensamientos, dijo el cuerpo. Tu cuerpo le importa a Dios, le pertenece a Dios y es una ofrenda para Dios. No por culpa, sino por su misericordia. 🤍

Esta semana, escoge un área para ofrecérsela. Haz esa cita médica, sal a caminar, acuéstate más temprano, o simplemente ora: “Señor, este cuerpo es tuyo.”

En nuestra serie “Reconstruyendo tu vida”, aprendimos que el Salmo 23 es el antídoto al estrés. Hoy lo vamos a orar juntos, línea por línea, y vamos a dejar nuestras preocupaciones, nuestra prisa y nuestros temores en manos del Buen Pastor.

También celebraremos juntos la Santa Cena.

Nos hemos acostumbrado tanto a vivir estresados que ya lo aceptamos como normal. Mañanas apuradas, mente acelerada, miedo al futuro. Pero Dios nunca nos pidió vivir así.

Este fin de semana fue la parte cuatro de “Reconstruyendo tu vida” y hablamos con sinceridad sobre el estrés. Todo comienza con una verdad simple: el estrés no es, ante todo, un problema de circunstancias. Es un problema de la mente. Lo cual significa que no se arregla cambiando lo que te rodea. Se arregla renovando lo que hay en ti.
