Jehoshaphat didn’t have all the answers. He had three things: the humility to acknowledge he couldn’t do it alone, the honesty to admit he didn’t know what to do, and the decision to look to God instead of the multitude coming against him. That was enough to change the outcome of an entire battle.

Josafat no tenía todas las respuestas. Tenía tres cosas: la humildad de reconocer que no podía hacerlo solo, la honestidad de admitir que no sabía qué hacer y la decisión de mirar a Dios en lugar de la multitud que venía contra él, y Dios cambió el resultado de toda una batalla.

A veces oras, sacas cuentas, hablas con la gente, examinas cada opción... y aun así sigues sin saber qué hacer. Eso no significa que te falte fe. Significa que eres humano.

Josafat, un rey con ejército y recursos, se encontró exactamente en ese lugar. Tal vez termines esta semana sin saber exactamente cómo se va a resolver tu situación. Pero puedes seguir adelante con algo mejor que una respuesta: una palabra de Dios. 🙏🏼

Sometimes you pray, do the math, talk to people, weigh every option... and you still don’t know what to do. That doesn’t mean you’re lacking faith. It means you’re human.

Jehoshaphat — a king with an army and resources — found himself in that exact place. You might end this week still not knowing exactly how your situation will work out. But you can move forward with something better than an answer: a word from God. 🙏🏼

A veces la iglesia no es el lugar donde encontramos todas las respuestas. Es el lugar donde encontramos a alguien que corre a nuestro lado, en las buenas y en las difíciles. ¿Quién está corriendo contigo esta temporada? 🫶🏼

Este fin de semana hablamos de esos “impedimentos visuales”: el peso son las distracciones (miedos, envidias, relaciones, entretenimiento), y el pecado es como correr con los pies enredados. It’s hard to run a race carrying extra weight, with your feet tangled up. It’s a lot of effort, a lot of motion — but you’re not actually getting anywhere. 📍

This past weekend we talked about these “visual impediments”: the weight is distraction (fears, envy, relationships, entertainment), and sin is like running with your feet entangled. Los discípulos vieron a Jesús morir con sus propios ojos — y concluyeron que la muerte era el poder más grande de todos. Tenían razón en lo que vieron, pero un punto ciego en lo que creyeron. Tomás fue el más honesto de todos: dijo que no creería a menos que lo viera él mismo.
Y cuando por fin lo vio, no dijo “tenías razón.” Dijo: “¡Mi Señor y mi Dios!” Así cerramos Las Siete Señales — con la señal más grande de todas. Gracias por caminar esta serie con nosotros durante todo el verano. Si te la perdiste o quieres verla de nuevo, esta en nuestro canal de YouTube.

The disciples saw Jesus die with their own eyes — and concluded that death was the greatest power there is. They were right about what they saw, but they had a blind spot in what they believed. Thomas was the most honest one of all — he said he wouldn’t believe unless he saw it himself. And when he finally did, he didn’t say “you were right.” He said: “My Lord and my God!” That’s how we closed out The Seven Signs — with the biggest sign of all.
