What a blessing to hear Karen Freeman’s message this morning! Focusing on God as our Redeemer, she reminded us of all the ways God has led people from being lost, to redeemed, to saved, and restored to their rightful place in relationship with the Father. Her own personal story was powerful testimony.

You’ll see here some other resources she shared, including specific scriptures and a reading plan for further study and encouragement.

She also recommends the book “Instruments in the Redeemer’s Hands” by Paul David Tripp.

And, if you’re interested in more opportunities to enjoy fellowship and learning, Pastor Laura is offering to host Sunday nights at the parsonage to study the book of Romans (lots of good stuff in there!). Stay tuned for more info!

Finally, as Pastor observed, singing was especially enthusiastic and joyful today….could it be in part because Arlin and Betty were back in worship today? Definitely an answer to so many prayers!

Over $1400 raised for Many Waters Mission at our baked goods booth at this year’s Escalante Day celebration!

Special thanks to Chris Thompson for her hard work organizing and coordinating this effort. She truly thought of everything. And of course, thank you to all who took time to bake and worked shifts at the table.

Along with a fantastic selection of goodies this was a great opportunity to enjoy laughter, fellowship, and camaraderie while representing our church in our beautiful community.
