We are so thankful to be a part of such a loving church family ✝️✝️

As many of you know, sweet Jude Ryan was involved in a boating accident this past Saturday. By the grace of God, Jude was able to undergo emergency surgery, where doctors successfully repaired his hamstring and tendons. We are so thankful for the Lord’s hand of protection over him! ❤️

Although Jude is on the mend, this brave little warrior still has a long road of healing and recovery ahead of him. His mother will be providing around-the-clock care over the next several weeks, and we would love to come together as a church and community to help ease some of the financial burden on their family during this time.

Hurricane Creek Baptist Church will be taking up a love offering for Jude and his family this coming Sunday. For anyone who would like to give before then, donations may also be dropped off at Floors by Design in Winnfield throughout the week.

We serve a mighty God, and He created such a strong little warrior in Jude! 💙 We have already seen His goodness through this difficult situation, and we are believing and praying for continued healing, strength, and a full recovery.

Please continue to lift Jude, his family, his doctors, and everyone caring for him up in prayer. And if you feel led to give, any amount will be greatly appreciated and will go toward helping this family as they focus on what matters most — getting Jude back on his feet. 🙏🏼💙

Hurricane Creek Church family,please be in prayer for Sister Cynthia Smith Taylor's Mother Mrs. Smith , as she's been taken to the hospital with a blood clot in her leg , and may have to be transferred to Highland in Shreveport for possible surgery.

Today was a bittersweet day as we celebrated the retirement of our pastor, Brother Travis Hampton, and his sweet wife, Renée.

For the past six years, Brother Travis has faithfully served our church—preaching God’s Word, praying with us, encouraging us, and walking beside us through both the joyful and difficult seasons of life. Renée has served right alongside him with a loving and gracious heart.

Brother Travis and Renée, thank you for six wonderful years of faithful service, love, and dedication to our church family. You have touched many lives, and you will always hold a special place in our hearts.

As you begin this new chapter, we pray that God blesses you both abundantly and gives you many wonderful years together to enjoy. You may be retiring from the pulpit, but you will always be part of our church family. ❤️
