This Friday, June 12th, is the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. On that day, the United States Bishops are consecrating our nation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Bishop Hying will be consecrating the Diocese of Madison to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and our own parish, St. Pius of Pietrelcina, will be consecrated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus as well, all in celebration of the anniversary of our country's 250 years of existence.

Our St. Pius of Pietrelcina parish consecration Mass will be held at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, June 12th at St. Joe's in Dodgeville. Eucharistic Adoration will be held following Mass, with Benediction at noon.

Please join us as we pray for our nation, diocese, parish, and school, asking the Sacred Heart of Jesus to bless, guide, and protect us.

St. Pius of Pietrelcina Parish celebrated the Feast of Corpus Christi with a Eucharistic Procession. Father Tafadzwa Kushamba and Father Alex Carmel led the faithful around St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Dodgeville. Participants enjoyed an outdoor potluck afterwards.

K-8th graders in St. Pius of Pietrelcina Parish's Faith Formation programs just finished up another year in the classroom. Students not only learn about their Catholic faith and the true presence of Christ in the Eucharist, they build friendships, pray together, and have a lot of fun as well.
