This Sunday we will be having Combined worship at 10:30 in the Fellowship Center to ordain Camden Kendrick. Sunday School will be at 9:30

Our church recently purchased a new piano. The pictured piano is approximately 30 years old but is still working. Most functions on the piano are in working order. It is an electronic Kurzweil piano with a full weighted keyboard. We are trying to find a church or individuals to give it a new home free of charge. Pickup required. During Sunday School, our preschool class had the same lesson as everyone else, Jesus washed the disciple’s feet. They experienced what Jesus and the disciples did and some say it turned into a baptism!!! Thank you preschool teachers for instilling a servant’s heart in each of our preschoolers.

Join DFBC on Sunday, May 31 at 5:30pm for a Spring Family Carnival. This will be the kickoff to Vacation Bible School which will be held June 1 - June 4. There will be bouncy houses, games/prizes, train rides, face painting, and food/Chill Mobile. There will be fun for the whole family. We hope to see you there!!!

Our church loves to minister to our community and one way we do that is through Operation Inasmuch. This evening we were honored to host the Surry Community Baseball team for supper. A wonderful group of young men!
