*One box per household. Must be present to receive a box.

*Giveaway is at 1pm.

*Cars that arrive before 12pm and cause traffic issues will be asked to leave and return at 1pm.

*Giveaway is over when all food has been given out.

Dear child of God,

Are you looking to increase the value of and impact of the communities to which housing belong? Want your church to be a better version of itself?

Try serving!

Serving through the spiritual gifts that God has granted you (yes, you!) is often an overlooked and undervalued part of the church equation for many attenders.

Why?

Some say it’s hard.
Some say it’s dirty or smelly (think nursery😂).
Some say it’s time consuming.
Some say it’s difficult to deal with people.
Some say it’s for the strong.
Some say it’s for the young.
Some say it’s for the old.
Some say it’s for the pastor.
Some say it’s for the deacons.
Some say it’s for somebody else.
Some say it’s what they used to do.

And the list goes on.

All believers are called to serve and serve well.

Serve where you are.
Serve when you know a need.
Serve whoever needs serving.

So serve you spouse.
Serve your children.
Serve your family.
Serve your church.
Serve your community.
Serve the known.
Serve the unknown.

Serve physically where you are called.
Serve prayerfully as we are commanded.

Praise God for those who serve no thought of what they might get in return.

Praise God for those that serve through the pain.

Praise God for those that serve through the tears.

Praise God for those the serve the weak.

Praise God for those that serve for God’s glory and the benefit of others!

Ask God for a clear direction in how you should serve! The scriptural directives are already there. Discover (or rediscover) the blessing of serving today!
