The Divernon United Methodist Church proudly belongs to the Illinois Great Rivers Conference (IGRC). As part of the IGRC, we have been blessed with the spiritual leadership of District Superintendent Bradley Watkins, whose guidance has been truly exceptional. We are grateful for Bradley's inspirational leadership and his efforts in maintaining a strong sense of community. Recently, Pastor Randy joined others in bidding farewell as Bradley departs for his new role as pastor at Coal City UMC. We offer our warmest wishes to Bradley in his transition, trusting in God's unwavering guidance. Thank you, Bradley, for your dedication and service. 👏❤️

Urgent Need…do you have items you can donate?

Last week a generous donor dropped off more than a dozen pairs of lightly used men's tennis shoes. Unfortunately, he left the shoes on the sidewalk at our front door after hours. The shoes were taken by a single individual and then sold down the street. Please help us best serve our community by dropping off donations during drop-off hours, 7:30am - 4:00pm, M-F.

The Mission is in desperate need of gently worn Men's tennis shoes, summer clothing (especially men's shirts and shorts), and men and women's underwear.

A food distribution is happening this Thursday in Virden. As always, the Divernon UMC Food Pantry is open every Monday from 5:00-7:00 pm.

❤️ We begin this week with heartfelt gratitude for the abundance in our lives. The recent weekend celebrations honored the remarkable women who enrich our world. We recognize the value of women who provide guidance, support, and kindness. The tireless efforts of women who care for their families and communities are truly valued. We witness the courage of women navigating difficult times and appreciate the resources available to them through our food pantry.
