❤️🎄 Hands for Hope Holiday Missions Are Underway! 🎄❤️

We are excited to kick off another season of Hands for Hope! With the generosity of our community, we hope to bring warmth, joy, and love to local families.

Watch for updates and opportunities to get involved throughout the season!

❤️ How Does Hands for Hope Work?

We partner with the Auburn-Divernon School District to identify Divernon families who could use a little extra support. Our mission includes three special ways to lend a helping hand:

🧥 Coats for Kids

We begin by purchasing warm winter coats to help keep children bundled up during the cold Illinois winter.

🛒 Thanksgiving & Christmas Food Vouchers

Recognizing that families have different dietary needs, food allergies, and preferences, we provide monetary food vouchers to help supplement their celebrations. Families can shop for items that best meet their needs at our local Save A Lot grocery store.

🎄 Angel Tree Program

We wrap up our mission with a community favorite—the Angel Tree! Each child receives three Angel tags, with each tag representing one special gift.

Angels will be ready for adoption by Thanksgiving week at United Community Bank and Divernon United Methodist Church.

Hands for Hope is made possible through the kindness and generosity of our community. Whether you give, adopt an Angel, or help spread the word, every act of kindness makes a difference.

What a wonderful morning of conversation, community, and fellowship!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this morning’s Let’s Talk program. We enjoyed a meaningful morning of learning, sharing, and connecting with one another.

Planning for the unexpected can be an emotional and sometimes difficult subject to approach. One important takeaway from today’s discussion was that simply starting the conversation with your loved ones and caregivers can make a world of difference. A little planning and communication today can bring peace of mind tomorrow.

A heartfelt thank you to Tyler Bramley and Tim Stanfield for sharing their knowledge, experience, and valuable insights. We are truly blessed to have such knowledgeable and caring professionals in our community who are willing to give their time to help others.

We appreciate everyone who spent part of their Saturday morning with us. It’s mornings like these that remind us how special our community truly is! ❤️
