The Cross Bearers Motorcycle Ministry, Inc. is preparing for their yearly charity ride. This year all of the ride proceeds will be dedicated to Crater Community Hospice. This organization does so much for individuals and families that are going through trying times that deal with the end of physical life experiences. Most, if not all of us, have had to experience their lovingkindness at one time or another and they are there until the transition comes. We solicit your support in this worthy and worthwhile endeavor.

The Cross Bearers MM has concluded two fruitful charity events for 2024 and we are grateful for all of the continuous and caring support from the biker community and the general community at large. Through this support two (2) charities were blessed. The "Ride 4 National Kidney Foundation" resulted in a donation of $1,000 to N.K.F. This donation was given in honor of our deceased member George "Bear" Garrett who suffered from kidney disease. Also, through the efforts of the ministry and community support, the Children's Hospital of Richmond received $900 through the Anthem Lemonade sale. Thanks to all of the contributors and supporter for helping to make these events successful. God Bless each of You!!!

Anthem has extended the opportunity for individuals to support the lemonade sale. The date was exiended because of the inclement weather. "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die"! It is with deep sorrow that the Cross Bearers Motorcycle Ministry announce the transitioning of our beloved friend and Brother George "Bear" Garrett. He was an outstanding man of God; large in stature with a heart just as big. He will certainly be miss by our ministry but also by the community for his "Good Works"! Please pray for our ministry during this difficult time but moreso pray for his family and loved ones for serenity and acceptance during this difficult time.

With kidney disease so prevalent in our society it is imperative that we all do our part for those that are affected. Most, if not all of us know someone that has been or is currently affected by this disease. The Cross Bearers MM, Inc. has decided to dedicate our yearly charity to the National Kidney Foundation in hopes of helping someone in need. We invite all of our biker family and others to play a part in this event. All proceeds will be donated to the National Kidney Foundation to be used to off-set the cost to others. The Cross Bearers MM are gearing up for our yearly trip to Maryland to worship with our Brother and Sister Bikers. This is an annual event sponsored by the Kingdom Knights MM. It is an open ride so if interested hit us up. We always have a Grand Time in The Lord!

May is Motorcycle Safety Month and time for an Safety Refresher for the riding season. Please take advantage of this Free course that is presented by the VA State Police. This is an annual event and is very informative and needed. Register at www.crossbearersmm.org
