The Joy of the Lord is My delightful gift to you. It will make you strong. My Joy is for all times—good and bad—though sometimes you may have to search for it. My Peace is also for all times. I give it to you when you trust in Me.

Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed at this great horde, for the battle is not yours but God's” (2 Chronicles 20:15).

The battle is the Lord’s. He still tells us to turn and face our hardship, but then we watch for our deliverance, fastening our faith to the God who makes good on His promises. He promises to be with us when we face our battles. He promises to fight for us when we turn our hearts to Him and seek His voice, pour out our helplessness to Him, and let Him move against our enemies.
