Regardless of where one is in our spiritual journey, we need to understand God's will. Growing spiritually is about gaining biblical knowledge, learning and using one's spiritual gifts with God's direction, and being

filled with His spirit. AUTHENTIC WORSHIP
Worship from the heart ; worshiping God in spirit and truth. It is about being real in our relationship to God, genuine in our relationships with others, and transparent as we approach almighty God. Authentic worship is evident in our daily lives through our actions, attitudes, and words. Authentic worship is a lifestyle not a Sunday morning experience. CONNECTION - connecting with one another - providing opportunities for fellowships and meaningful relationships. Offering love and support to one another. Connecting with the world - When we are connected within, we can reach out to show and share God's love to others. Connecting with God - through relevant teachings that will help people grow spiritually and emotionally, and help them connect with God in every aspect of their life. PRAYER
Communicating with God to give Him our praise and adoration, to share with him our concerns and our fears. We will pray to see God's will for the church and our community, and that people commit their lives to Christ. CULTURAL RELEVANCE
Relating to the surrounding community in all aspects; studying and understanding people and their needs, and then helping fill those needs. BIBLICAL TEACHING
Teaching that is instructional for one's life from the holy bible. 2 Timothy 4:1-3 instructs us to "preach the word" as it is inspired by God, not as desired or designed by people.

FRIDAY IS HERE!

The work week is winding down, the holiday weekend is just ahead, and maybe you’re already thinking about that first cup of coffee, a little extra sleep, time with family, or simply taking a breath.

Before you rush into the weekend, take a moment to thank God for bringing you through another week. Whatever this weekend holds—travel, cookouts, family time, rest, or absolutely nothing on the calendar—remember that God is with you in it all.

LAMP POST LIVING SMALL GROUP BEGINS September 14

Lamp Post Living is for everyday people who want to grow in their faith and live it out where they are. This group creates space for meaningful conversation and practical application. The group will be using the book, More Than Neighbors (A Biblical Worldwide View of Community). The group will begin meeting Monday, September 14, and meet each Monday evening at 7pm for 12 weeks.
