We Welcome Our New Lead Pastor!
Compass Point Church in Dillsburg is delighted to announce that Rev. Jessie Waller will be joining the congregation as the new Lead Pastor beginning March 15, 2026. His first Sunday preaching will be March 22.

Rev. Waller is no stranger to Compass Point. He previously served as Assistant Pastor from 2020 to 2024 before being called to pastor Holden Baptist Church in Holden, Louisiana, where he has served for the past two years. Jessie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies from Spurgeon College and is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity at Midwestern Theological Seminary.

The church is eager to welcome Jessie, his wife, Jess, and their two children back to the Dillsburg area as they begin this new chapter of ministry together.

This pastoral transition comes as Compass Point’s founding pastor, Rev. Dr. Neil Olcott, steps away from full-time pastoral ministry after more than 45 years of faithful service. Dr. Olcott will now focus more of his time on his family and his ongoing work as Area Director for the C.S. Lewis Institute of Central Pennsylvania.

Compass Point Church celebrates God’s continued faithfulness and looks forward with gratitude and anticipation to what He will do through Pastor Jessie’s leadership in the years ahead.

Hello Church! While there is snow in the air and on the lawn, the roads are still basically bare. After consultation with the elders, we have decided to go ahead and have worship this morning at the church as usual. We do want to encourage everyone to be safe, and if it makes you too nervous to drive, we will be offering the live streaming of the service right here on our page. We hope you will join us at the church, but we also want you to do what is right for your level of comfort God bless!

We are super excited and praising God for our next Lead Pastor at Compass Point Church. Jessie Waller, his wife Jess, and their family are moving to central PA to serve the church as our next Lead Pastor. We praise God for this family and we look forward to Jessie bringing leadership to our church family!
