Our family moved to Dillingham, Alaska as missionaries in June of 2014, we desire is to start Bible studies/kids ministries in the surrounding villages!

We had a blast… a wet and cold blast! Our event on Saturday we had pouring rain! But still had people come out and brave the maze! We gave out 150 gift bags that had scriptures and a devotional in it, with toys and candy. Hot dogs at both days, with hot chocolate and fruit roll ups! We absolutely love the ministry this has given us in Dillingham!

A great day yesterday building the pallet maze! We have about a 1/3 of it done! Had to include some pics of our amazing kids working hard… pallets hold water, so they are super duper heavy! But we LOVE this time of year and the events for our community! Please pray for us as we finish the maze and prepare for one of our largest outreaches!

We are headed to Togiak today! We finally have some good weather so we are jumping on a plane! It will be about a 45 min flight. Please pray for us! We have Bibles, tracts, balloon animals, candy and kids packets!

They started working on our road a few weeks ago, and have dug huge ditches while they work… they will soon put ditches on the left side of our driveway and we wouldn’t be able to get the boat out until they widen the road… so a friend of ours is letting us store the boat at their property so that we can take it out at a moments notice. PLEASE pray for good weather. The rain after many many days… and no sun… it’s hard on the brain, and the spirit! There has yet to be a time when we were able to go to any villages, let alone get the boat out to clean out the cobwebs from the winter. For example, tomorrow, we are supposed to have 35 mph winds… even a lot of the commercial fisherman have come in. It’s just discouraging. Please pray for good weather so that we can get to Clark’s Point, or Ekuk!

Blessing of the Fleet: June 17th

We had an absolutely beautiful day for the Blessing of the Fleet this year! There were at least 200 people there for the event… it’s simply a time we gather together to remember those that have passed during the fishing season, and to ask God to protect the fleet heading out to fish this season. Several other ministers were there along with Phil to have a time of prayer. The boats are out now, and the season has begun. We are praying for a bountiful and safe season!

We did it! 303 pallets stacked! Whew! Thankful for friends coming to help!

WOW!!! Have we had an awesome day!!! We lost count of corn dogs, gift bags and people! We had such a great day seeing everyone complete the maze and spend time around the fire… God is good! The kids in the community have been asking for weeks when the maze would be open… and boy did they have fun in it today!

We had over 100 kids, along with parents and aunties and uncles… many took Bibles home with them, and each gift bag had a Bible story and tracts along with candy and small toys. Thank you for praying for this event! From those that pray for us, support us, to those that prayed for this event: Thank you! You had a part in this! To God be the glory!
