At Walnut Street Christian Child Care Center, we’re always excited to connect with caring, dependable people who have a heart for working with children.

We provide care for children from 6 weeks through 5 years old and understand that everyone’s schedule looks a little different. Because of that, we strive to offer flexible scheduling whenever possible based on the needs of both our center and our employees.

📌 Interested in enrolling at Walnut Street Christian Child Care Center? Here’s how our waitlist works!

Thank you for your interest in our program! We are so honored that so many families consider us to care for their children.

The fastest and easiest way to join our waitlist is by emailing:

Please include:
• Child’s full name
• Date of birth (or expected due date if you’re expecting!)
• Desired start date
• Desired schedule (full-time, part-time, specific days, etc.)
• Parent/guardian name
• Best phone number and email address

🤍 Expecting a baby?
The best time to join a childcare waitlist is as soon as you find out you’re expecting. Infant spots are our most limited and often fill well in advance.

One thing we’re incredibly thankful for is that many of our families stay with us from infancy all the way through preschool. Because children often remain in our program for several years, openings don’t become available very often.

Our largest group of openings typically becomes available each August, when our oldest children transition into our preschool program or head off to kindergarten, creating space for younger children to move up. Because of this, enrolling as an infant often provides the greatest opportunity to remain in our program through the preschool years.

As openings become available, we contact families whose requested start dates, schedules, and ages best match the opening.

Already on our waitlist? We encourage you to check in with us periodically by email to let us know you’re still interested in care and to update us if your childcare needs have changed. This helps us keep our waitlist as current as possible.
