If we do talk about s*x in the church, we often zero in on how destructive it can be. We talk about all the “don’ts.” We use scare tactics to steer our teens away from the very idea of s*x. We sometimes act like s*x is a tool of the devil rather than a gift from God. Here’s the message in a nutshell: “Sex is the most scandalous, sinful, shameful thing in the world… so be sure to save it for someone you love.”
