New Vision Church was birthed into existence in October 2010 at the home of Pastor & Sis. Yancy, Sr., in League City, Texas, by families residing in what is known as the "Bay Area", who desired a closer relationship with Christ with a tenured, energetic and fresh pastoral leadership. A name for the new church was sought out and prayed on, and after much prayer, New Vision was born. Yancy reveals t

he ageless truths of the Bible with clarity and conviction. His well-researched, bible-based messages are relevant to every-day life, but the message of the Gospel never changes. Pastor Yancy's primary desire in ministry is to teach in a way that encourages people to fall in love with our Savior, teach our children our strong Christian heritage and fulfill our destiny in Christ. Thank you Pastor for reminding us that only some things can be done through prayer & fasting.

FASTING

Ezra 8:21–23 — They fasted, prayed, and God answered.

2 Chronicles 20:3–22 — They proclaimed a fast, prayed, and God fought for them.

Esther 4:15–16 → Esther 5:1–2 — They fasted, and the situation changed.

PRAYER

Acts 4:31 — They prayed, and the place shook.

Acts 12:5–17 — The church prayed, and Peter was released.

Acts 13:2–3 — They fasted and prayed, and God gave them direction.

To the Beautiful Ladies of New Vision,

My heart is overflowing with gratitude. Thank you for every gift, every hug, every encouraging word, every prayer, and every expression of love you showed me yesterday. You may never fully know what it meant to me.

The past 5½ years since answering the call to an elected office on a City Council -it has been some of the most difficult years our family and church have ever walked through. We have endured attacks, accusations, disappointments, public criticism, private pain, loss, and moments when simply continuing to stand required more strength than people could see. There were days when I smiled while hurting, served while tired, encouraged others while needing encouragement myself, and kept believing God while asking Him, “Lord, how much longer?”

But yesterday reminded me that God has not forgotten me—and neither have His daughters.

When you blessed me, you weren’t simply giving me gifts. You were telling me, “We see you. We appreciate you. We are standing with you. Keep going.” And I received every bit of that love.

I preached, “Who Is God?” and although no one came forward to receive Christ, I believe seeds were planted, hearts were strengthened, and the congregation was fed. Sometimes the evidence of a successful sermon is not who walks down the aisle that Sunday—it is what God does with the Word after everyone goes home.

Ladies, thank you for helping me remember that after everything we have endured, we are still here. We are still worshipping. Still serving. Still loving. Still building. Still believing. Still standing.

What the enemy intended to break us has driven us closer to God. And after 5½ years, I can still testify: God kept us.

Thank you for loving your First Lady. Thank you for loving my family. Thank you for loving our church. And thank you for reminding me that I do not stand alone.

I love you deeply, and I am grateful to serve beside each of you.

We have cried together. We have prayed together. We have endured together. And by the grace of God, we are going to see the harvest together.
