🚨Our Youth Pastor is expanding our ministry! 🚨

A MESSAGE FROM Dr Emmons:

Good morning, St. Thomas family,

I have a praise report I’m excited to share with you. Some time ago, Pastor Mitchell spoke into my life and encouraged me to get ready—sharing that God was going to elevate me in a way that would allow me to impact and save even more lives for the Kingdom of God.

That time has come. With Pastor Mitchell’s blessing and support, I’m honored to share that, in addition to serving in my current capacity at St. Thomas, I will also be serving at New Life Church in Lufkin as the Youth Pastor and Sports Director.

This new opportunity will also benefit St. Thomas, as it will allow us to coordinate and collaborate on some of our current activities with New Life.

For example, those who wish to continue joining our online Wednesday prayer and Bible study may do so. Additionally, for those who would like to attend in person and need transportation, a bus will be available on Wednesdays and will depart from the St. Thomas parking lot at 6:00 PM to attend services.

🚨 Thanksgiving Food Drive — Tonight! 🚨

We’ll be at St. Thomas St. Truth Ministries from 6:30–7:30 PM collecting food to bless our neighbors in need this Thanksgiving.
If you’re able, we’re asking everyone to bring 5 canned goods to the church during this time.
Together, we’ll make sure families in our community have what they need for a blessed holiday.

Thank you for your generosity. As the Word reminds us—it truly is more blessed to give than to receive. 🙏🏾🙏🏾
