🎃👻Trunk or Treat 🍬🍭

If you’re looking for something easy to do with the kids for this Fall Season, come by DCC’s Trunk or Treat (and walk over to see our friends at Diamondhead Methodist to scoop up even more goodies).

We are decorating our trunks, stocking up on candy, getting the games and snacks ready, and looking forward to seeing families from around Diamondhead.

It’s free, and no wristbands are required. Stop by when it works for your family; we’d be glad to see you.

This Sunday, we’re making an afternoon of it.

After worship at 10:00, we’ll share Bring-A-Dish lunch at the church from 11:00 to 12:30. Bring a favorite dish to share.

Then it’s Family Farm Day. The carpool leaves DCC at 12:30, with arrival at Promiseland Farm at 1:00. $10 per person and CASH ONLY.

Come shop the Women of the Church Fall Yard Sale on Saturday, October 3, during Diamondhead’s city-wide yard sale! Event will be indoors! All proceeds will go to Operation Christmas Child, helping provide Christmas shoebox gifts and share the hope of the Gospel with children around the world.

Browse a great variety of gently used treasures, household items, décor, books, and more while supporting a meaningful cause. Come find a bargain, bring a friend, and help us turn donated treasures into a blessing for others!

We’ll be singing “Speak O Lord” this Sunday.

If it isn’t familiar yet, here’s a chance to hear it before worship. The song is a prayer that God would speak through his Word, shape us by his truth, and help us live what we hear.

Give it a listen in the car or around the house this week. You don’t need to know every word by Sunday—we’ll sing it together.

We’ve got a lot coming up for DCC’s youth and families—from classic cars and a foam party to a day at the farm, Trunk or Treat, service opportunities, Black Saturday, spaghetti dinner, and Polar Thang.

There’s no need to remember it all today. Save this flyer somewhere handy, and we’ll share more details and reminders as each date gets closer.

Some events are for the whole family, while others are specifically for children or students. Take a look, mark the dates that fit your family, and share this post with another parent or grandparent who may want to know what’s ahead.

Summer isn’t over yet—we’ve got one more pool night on the calendar. ☀️

We’ve reserved all of North Rec Pool for DCC on Sunday, September 20, from 4:00–7:00 p.m. There’ll be swimming, volleyball, relay races, games, and plenty of time to sit poolside and catch up.

Pizza is covered. Bring a dip and chips to share.

Swim, play, visit—or do a little of all three. This evening is for the whole church family.
