As we start the summer, Pastor Matt begins a sabbatical from June 1 through August 16.
For nearly eight years, Matt has faithfully served Emmaus Road Church, helping us know Jesus and make Him known. Since joining ERC in July 2018, he has poured countless hours into preaching, shepherding, leading, encouraging, and caring for our church family.
A sabbatical is an opportunity to step away from the normal rhythms of ministry to rest, be refreshed, and spend focused time with the Lord. We are grateful that Matt has this opportunity and want to encourage our church family to cover him in prayer during the weeks ahead.
🙏 Pray for rest and rejuvenation.
🙏 Pray for renewed vision and spiritual refreshment.
🙏 Pray for meaningful time with the Lord.
🙏 Pray for his wife and children as they enjoy this season together.
We look forward to hearing how God has worked in Matt's life during this summer and celebrating his return to ERC.
