No better one to set our minds on than the LORD our God. 1 John 4:8, says, “God is love.”

God’s love defines every one of His attributes. Therefore even God’s wrath is not without love. His love is beyond all measure and magnanimous and therefore reaches the lowest of sinners. That love and wrath is publicly displayed on the cross of Christ, where God’s full measure of wrath was put on His own Son and sinners redeemed.

We are not called to preach on racism, oppression, or injustice. We are called to preach Christ, and Him crucified.
