There comes a time when a community must pause and reflect.
This year, we have witnessed too many losses. We have mourned loved ones, buried members of our community, and faced the painful reality that life is fragile. These moments should draw us closer to God, not further away.
The Bible tells us that the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy. That is why we must remain vigilant in prayer. We must cover our families, our children, and our communities with the protection of God. Prayer is not just for Sunday mornings; it is a daily responsibility.
Parents, continue to raise your children in the fear of God. Pray for them continually. Faith without works is dead, and one of the greatest works of faith is teaching the next generation to walk in God’s ways.
When challenges arise, do not run from God after receiving an answer to your prayers. Stay in Him. Remain faithful. Continue to study His Word, live righteously, forgive others, and keep your eyes fixed on Christ.
If you want to rise above your challenges, hear God’s voice and remain obedient to Him. Call upon Jehovah Ezer, the Lord our Helper. His help is not temporary—it is lasting for those who remain in His presence.
May God strengthen every family, comfort every grieving heart, and protect our community.
