Hello SROLGC Faith Family Members

It is with deep regret that the Larkins family share that our Beloved Mom, Deloris Larkins, a parishioner of SROLGC (and longtime parishioner of prior churches back to the former Historic St Anthony church) passed away on Friday August 7, 2026. The family asks for prayer for the repose of the soul of Deloris and strength for the family during this difficult time.

Arrangements are as follows:

URGENT ALERT

A couple of parishioners reported that they received a FAKE text from telephone number 313-737-8069 as if it was from Fr Francis asking them to purchase gift cards and send the information (picture of gift card with the associated pin number) back to them via text response. If you get a similar message please ignore it, report it as SPAM, do not respond to the text then delete it. THIS IS A HOAX!!!

Two things we can do is to add the telephone number stated above to our blocked numbers AND be extra careful in these times of AI (Artificial Intelligence) since it can occur for telephone calls that may sound exactly like the person you know. In a nutshell, if the call does NOT come from the number you have for that person it's probably a hoax.
