During Rosh Hashanah, many Jewish families prepare 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵 rather than the traditional elongated braided loaf.
The round shape has come to represent:
- The cycle of the year
- GOD’s kingship
- New beginnings
- Continuity and completeness
Many Jewish believers in YESHUA and Christians who embrace a Jewish or Hebraic lifestyle continue this tradition while keeping CHRIST at the center of their celebration.
Bread carries particularly meaningful symbolism for believers in YESHUA.
𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝟲:𝟯𝟱 𝗞𝗝𝗩
“And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life…”
And Scripture reminds us:
𝗗𝗲𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝘆 𝟴:𝟯 𝗞𝗝𝗩
“…man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD…”
