Happy Father’s Day! 💙

Today we celebrate and honor the amazing fathers in our church family ⛪️🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 Thank you for your love, leadership, wisdom, and the countless ways you reflect God’s faithfulness through your care for your families and our community.

We are grateful for the example you set and the impact you make every day. May God continue to bless, strengthen, and guide you as you walk in His purpose. 🙌

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, grandfathers, spiritual fathers, and father figures who make a difference in our lives! 😇

The progress thus far? The sanctuary repairs are done. Today, the painting kicks into high gear as the sprayers are put into action.

With the sanctuary repair and repainting ongoing, we will be worshipping in the Fellowship Hall tomorrow - because of this, we will not be livestreaming worship.

If you are in the Detroit Metro area, we hope to see you in person.

For those out of state, continue to keep us in your prayers, as we keep you in our prayers, and we hope to back online the following Sunday.

Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow for worship (10am) and fellowship!

Ready for Day 2 of the Sanctuary repair and repainting. They made amazing progress on the first day.

Yep - we are storing items from the sanctuary wherever we can find room, including my office.

If you are in the neighborhood, stop by and marvel at the great work that is being done by Darrin and his crew.

An amazing day at Genesis - with both the African American Taste Fest, and the preparations for our sanctuary repair and repainting project that begins tomorrow at 9am.

Yep, we know it's Lent. But remember, Sundays are little Easters, so you can suspend your fast. Why is this important? Because this Sunday, February 22nd, is the Annual Genesis Lutheran Church African American Taste Fest!

Join us as we continue to celebrate Black History Month with the best food from the Beloved Community.
