The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “Fasting on the day of Arafah is an expiation for the preceding year and the following year.” This is the mercy of Allah (swt); 365 days behind you and 365 days ahead can all be forgiven. Even if you're not performing Hajj, this day still holds immense rewards.
