God’s Oldschool Ministry was incorporated in 2003 as a spiritual body and outreach ministry in the John R. The mission of God’s Oldschool Ministry is to build “better communities, one child, and one family at a time.” Relying upon God’s help, we seek to carry out a divinely inspired vision as a part of the east side Detroit community. We focus on the complete person, addressing their spiritual nee

ds as well as their physical needs. We are a spiritually based organization striving to make the community a better place to live, grow and work. God's Oldschool's Vision is a God Given Vision! After years of crying out to the Lord God regarding the despair that I saw in the faces of children and families, and saying to God that he needed to send somebody to do something, I heard God speak to me through the Holy Spirit and he told me that I was that somebody. So here I stand, God first, others second and myself last. God has blessed me with the desire and passion to love people. It is this love and realization that “the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof” that keeps me faithful and humble as I continue to work in the vision God has given. As God’s plan began to manifest in my life, I finally realized that God had been planting seeds for such a harvest for many years. Thus was birthed God’s Oldschool Ministry, a church/outreach ministry with the well-being, love and care of men, women, boys and girls in mind.
