Come and celebrate with us in just a couple of weeks at Mary's Home on the West Side of Detroit! As a parish dedicated to Our Lady, our official feast day is the Solemnity of the Annunciation. Here's how we will be celebrating this day in honor of our Blessed Mother on March 24th:

•6pm combined Evening Prayer (I Vespers of the Annunciation) and Vigil Mass.

• Rectory open-house with tours and refreshments

Join us as we take a Church-approved break from the Lenten fast and honor the moment that our Blessed Mother gave her "Fiat"—when the Word became Flesh.

2. He is from Chicago, Illinois.
3. He was ordained a priest in 1982 and appointed bishop of Chiclayo, Peru in 2015.

Happy Easter!

As we continue to celebrate the joy of the Resurrection this Easter week, our hearts are especially full. This past Saturday, during the Easter Vigil we had the incredible joy of welcoming five new members into full communion with the Catholic Church.

Niffiti, Neil, and Mark were baptized in the light of the Paschal candle. They, together with Paris and Evan were received into the Church through Confirmation and First Holy Communion, completing a long journey of faith and discernment.

The Vigil was filled with awe: from the flicker of the first flame in darkness to the joyful Alleluias that rang out as we celebrated the Resurrection together.

Please join us in welcoming them with open arms and open hearts. Say hello. Offer a prayer. Share your story. This is the beginning of a beautiful journey — not just for them, but for all of us, together as the Body of Christ.

Welcome home: Niffiti, Neil, Mark, Paris, and Evan! 💒

Last week, our Fellowship Room was the scene of a Sock Hop, where 30 or so young adults from all around Detroit gathered to dance to Golden Oldies music. Everyone had a great time, and it was a pleasure to see these young people enjoying themselves and dancing to the music of their grandparents' generation.
